Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
LiftAndSend ("LiftAndSend", "we", "us", "our") is a sole proprietorship operated by Matthew Levene in Boulder, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or hire us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the following:
- Information you submit through forms. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business details, the service you are interested in, and the free-text message you write.
- Client information during engagements. If you hire us, we collect whatever is necessary to deliver the work, which may include business contact information, website access credentials, billing details, and brand materials.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Cookies and analytics. We currently do not run third-party analytics on this site. If we add analytics in the future (for example, a privacy-friendly provider like Plausible, Fathom, or PostHog), we will update this policy and, where required, present a notice or consent prompt.
SMS communications
By calling LiftAndSend's business phone number, you initiate contact with our business and consent to receive an SMS follow-up from us at the phone number you called from. SMS messages are sent from the same business number you called and may include responses to your inquiry, scheduling assistance, service confirmations, and occasional promotional offers.
Message frequency varies based on your engagement and the nature of your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will be immediately and permanently unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS from LiftAndSend. Reply HELP at any time to receive support information.
We do not share, rent, or sell SMS opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
How we use information
- Responding to inquiries and scheduling calls.
- Delivering the services a client has signed up for.
- Processing payments through Stripe.
- Sending operational emails related to an active engagement.
- Improving the site, fixing bugs, and protecting against abuse.
- Meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of processors to run the business. These companies receive only the information they need to do their job, and each has its own privacy practices:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Resend for transactional email delivery.
- Google Workspace for our business email.
- Vercel for website hosting.
We encourage you to review these providers' own privacy policies for details on how they handle data.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions and client records only as long as needed. Tax and accounting records are retained for seven years in line with IRS and Colorado Department of Revenue guidance. Contact form submissions that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Active client records are kept for the duration of our relationship plus the tax retention period above, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a correction or update.
- Request deletion, subject to records we are required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
